How we handle your data

Who runs Gakuva

Gakuva is built and run by Elvis Ibarra, a parent in Texas. I'm not a big company with a legal department. I'm a dad who built this for my daughter Calista and families like ours.

What we collect

When you use Gakuva, we collect only what's needed to run the service:

• Your account email address for authentication
• Child first names and ages you enter
• Lesson evidence notes and photos you save to the archive
• Attendance and mastery records you track
• Stripe customer and subscription IDs for billing

Why we collect it

We use this data to run your evidence archive, handle billing for Gakuva Family subscriptions, and send authentication emails. That's it.

Who we share with

We share data with service providers who help run Gakuva:

• Stripe processes payments
• Vercel hosts the application
• Supabase stores your data and handles authentication

These are processors, not buyers. We do not sell your data. We do not sell your children's records. Period.

Your control

The records you upload are yours. If you want to delete your account and all associated data, email me at ielvisd@gmail.com and I'll take care of it.
