Skip counting jumps by the same amount each time. Twos sound like 2, 4, 6, 8. Fives sound like 5, 10, 15, 20. Tens sound like 10, 20, 30… up the decades.
Spend about 15 minutes skip-counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s with objects first, then with the chart.
