Use a supplied mini-thesaurus to select a word that fits context.
Ask for an example of one prerequisite idea; revisit if needed. Historical graph coverage does not establish this learner’s readiness.
Use mini-thesaurus cards; they are original teaching entries, not a full reference book or a copied dictionary.
Use supplied stage sheets on screen or scrap paper; keep adult keys separate.
