Recognise and name all uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet; name the letters in order and use letter names to distinguish between alternative spellings

Point to a letter, say its name, and find the matching uppercase or lowercase letter.
Choose 5 letters. Mix uppercase and lowercase cards, name each letter, and match the pairs. Add five more only when the first set feels easy.

ABCs
Guided alphabet exposure and rehearsal with sounds, pictures, and songs; it does not independently assess naming letters.
Proof: After the activity, record an adult check in which the learner independently names sampled uppercase and lowercase letters and recites A–Z.
