Listening means eyes and ears on the speaker, a quiet mouth, and waiting for your turn. A good response answers what was actually said. At home we pass a turn object instead of a whole-class hand-raise routine.
Spend about 10 minutes taking short turns talking about two toys and answering one check question after each turn.
