1 approach
A conversation stays on topic across turns. We listen, respond to what was just said, and add an idea instead of jumping to a brand-new subject. This is practice for you and your child—not a large peer group.
Spend about 10–15 minutes keeping a three-to-five-turn conversation on one outside-fun topic.
