1 approach
Talking helps us explore an idea before we settle on an answer or write. We can speculate with “What if…?”, make a hypothesis with “I think ___ because ___,” and imagine a new possibility. Absorb means soak up a liquid.
Spend 10 minutes wondering aloud about what will happen when a sponge touches water, using absorb in conversation, imagining a changed situation, and talking through the idea before drawing or writing it.
