Number Words to Twenty

Read and write number words from one to twenty

Teaching approaches

Gakuva’s recommended starting approach is selected. You can still compare every option.

Selected Default Gakuva

Number words are the written names for numerals. Twelve is 12. We match, read, and write the word forms instead of inventing a full deck of twenty pairs mid-lesson.

Spend about 15 minutes matching nine ready numeral/word pairs, then writing two number words.
