Ask the learner to read 302,040 and state the value of 3 (300,000) and 4 (40). Ask whether 302,040 or 320,040 is greater (320,040). If this is unclear, return to numbers to one million. This lesson has an older canonical age range than the first four; use readiness, not batch position alone.
